Birchbox: September 2012

I have stopped anxiously guessing at what my Birchbox will contain. I used to search videos, look at spoilers, and hype up themes. That left me short changed and disappointed. I feel a renewed excited for Birchbox and am ready to be surprised every month!

Don't know what Birchbox is?
Birchbox is a monthly subscription service that delivers a little, heavenly box of premium beauty samples to your doorstep. Each month you will receive 4-5 samples (sometimes even full-sized products) and generally a goodie (energy booster, granola bar, etc). The samples range from make-up, polishes, skincare, body, hair, and fragrances. All from luxury, quality brands. Every month is a surprise, but the samples picked for you are based on a survey you fill out letting the gals know your style and skin-type. Birchbox costs just $10 a month, and your box will always be valued way above!

September 2012, Box #10
Fall is officially here. The days of short shots, neon nails, and humidity have parted ways to make room for the autumn chill, layers, and deep gorgeous colors. Birchbox is inspiring us this month to test out the new trends and step into fall looking fabulous. This month we received an 18 page Fall Lookbook mini-magazines. It includes all kinds of tips and new looks. My favorites are the new twisted braid, how to wear bold eyeshadow, and tips for applying lipstick. It was a great addition to the box and I truly hope that this wasn't a one time thing. Head designer of Madewell, Kin Ying Lee, helped put together the Lookbook and also has some of her own tips in the book.

Information Cards:

Products:
Dr. JartWater Fuse Beauty Balm 25 SPF+
Think of this four-in-one moisturizer, serum, sunscreen, and skin-perfecting tint as the (extremely stylish) Swiss Army Knife of your beauty lineup.
Full Size: 1.7 oz ($32.00)
Size Received: 0.1 oz ($1.88)
I'm never the first time try new beauty trends. I only just got into tinted moisturizers. And now there are all these BB creams to try! Birchbox loves Dr. Jart, they featured them in multiple boxes since May. I have already tried this product in the past and remember liking it. It was a good BB cream that evened out my skin tone, blended well with my skin color, wasn't greasy, and lasted all day. It didn't cover too much, just made everything (blemishes, pores, spots) blend naturally together. The only thing I don't like about BB creams is it really makes your skin one toned. You lose your natural contours and glow. I always have to wear more blush and bronzer to get my usual glow back. I wouldn't rebuy this product because it most likely isn't cruelty-free since it is a Korean brand. I couldn't find any information anywhere.
Unsure if tested on animals. (most likely tested on animals as Korean brand)

Color Club: Birchbox Custom Polish in Insta-This
We teamed up with Color Club to create this custom shade, inspired by the Fall 2012 collections.
Full Size: 0.5 oz ($8.00)
Size Received: 0.25 oz ($4.00)
Birchbox sure loves Color Club. I think this is my fourth so far this year. I don't mind. I think nail polishes add great value to my boxes. I was highly impressed with this polish! Normally I find Color Club streaky, uneven, and chip easily. Instead this sexy, true blue polish applied evenly, smooth, and lasted longer than any Color Club polish I've worn. I seriously adore this color. It is bright and fun without being neon teenager. It is perfect to wear with the new fall trends. I am really happy with the color I got!
Cruelty-free!

BVLGARI: Mon Jasmin Noir
With waves of ripe fruit and a base of heady jasmine, this luxurious scent is the perfect accessory to fall outfits.
Full Size: 1.69 oz ($83.00)
Size Received: 0.05 oz ($2.46)
I fell in love with Bvlgari's Omnia Crystalline which I received in my May Birchbox. I already bought the full-size in the BB shop. I got it 25% off and with $30 off. Deal? You betcha. I was excited to get to try another scent from the Italian powerhouse. Mon Jasmin Noir is a scent that was created to capture the scent of a sophisticated, sensual woman. The top notes are cedrac and lily of the valley. Im not the biggest fan of the top notes, it is a bit too old for me. But once the middle and dry down enter in I am please. The jasmine comes in and it is fresh, crisp, and a little woodsy/musky. I still think this scent is too old for me. I could see wearing it for something very formal. But I wouldn't wear this every day. What I did like is that it lasted so long!
Cruelty-free!

LiQWd: Professional Voluminizing Catalyst
Loaded with high-tech ingredients, this body-building mist penetrates deep into each strand to make your locks look fuller.
Full Size: 5.0 oz ($22.00)
Size Received: 0.34 oz ($1.63)
If I put mousse in my hair, 20mins later my hair will look like a wet mop. Product is not my friend. So when there is a lightweight miracle worker, I'm on board. LiQWd is a brand I have not heard of before, but I contacted the company and immediately was greeted with happy news that all their products are both cruelty-free and contain no animal derived ingredients. The volume in this catalyst is created by nano-hydraspheres that swells the hair follicle with moisture to lift and separate each strand. Plus, it has all sorts of nutrients from natural ingredients (tomato and cocoa) to stimulate healthy growth, nourish, and protect hair. To get the perfect look, spritz on the product on damp hair from roots to ends, comb through, fluff, and dry (air or blow dry). I can't wait to try this!
Cruelty-free!

LiQWdVolumizing Shampoo & Conditioner
This body-building duo pumps up each follicle full of moisture, helping hair look fuller.
Full Size: both 11.8 oz ($24.00)
Size Received: 2 satchels 0.25 oz ($0.96)
What a perfect extra to go along with the voluminizing styling product. Both the shampoo and conditioner use the special nano-hydraspheres to add volume. Plus wheat protein and amino acids that hold moisture to help combat humidity, soften and smooth, and increase hair cuticle thickness. Rice protein and vitamins help promote healthy cell nutrition.
Cruelty-free!

twistbandBirchbox Custom Lace Hair Tie
Designers went gaga for lace this season and we don't blame them. Get on board with these ouch-free hair ties.
Full Size: 6 twistbands ($14.00)
Size Received: 1 twistband ($2.33)
The first time I got a twistband in my box I was livid. A piece of stretch elastic tied in a knot, how is this special. But I love the idea of having a larger hair band to wear around my wrist when I may want my hair up. I use kids plastic teeny hair ties that would cut off circulation on even my pointer finger and somehow always get lost when I throw them in my pant pockets. My only concern with these is I start wearing them for days and days and I just wonder what kind of bacteria is on them. I do love this lace pattern, makes it a bit more special.

Extras
Birchbox Digital Download
Tristan Prettyman is our latest musical crush. Download two of the singer-songwriter's brand new tracks at tristanprettyman.com/bb.
Last time we got a digital download many gals were so disappointed. But I absolutely adore trying out new music. The two songs that are available for download is My Oh My and Quit You. I've already heard My Oh My on Sirius radio and really adore it. Tristan is a little folky, sultry, and pop-infused. I really adore her music. And it sounds like her new album, Cedar+Gold, set to release in October will be awesome.

Madewell Coupon
Included is a $25 off a purchase of $75 or more. However great a deal that sounds like, Madewell is darn expensive! Madewell is the sister store of J. Crew. It is a bit younger (less preppy and less structured). It is slightly less expensive, but I don't see spending $98 for a flannel button up. I don't think I'll be using my coupon. The coupon was only valid until the 30th.

Total value of my September 2012 Birchbox:$13.26
My relationship with Birchbox is bipolar. I absolutely adored this box! It had a little of everything and some great extras! It just shows that the value doesn't always matter. Last month I had a value of $30 and I was so displeased. This month just barely over the $10 I pay, but I loved everything I got. Plus, many of the items are within my small budget so there is a possibility that I could afford to rebuy items!

What do you think of my September Birchbox? How does it compare to yours? What color polish did you get? Let me know in the comments below!

Birchbox: July 2012

It is barely relevant at this point, but I still want to post about this box since it was one of my favorites in awhile. Plus this was my 1 year anniversary! I got my first Birchbox last July on my birthday! My sister gave me a 6 month subscription and I am still loving it!

Don't know what Birchbox is?

July 2012, Box #11
Birchbox and Glamour Magazine teamed up this month to test your senses. The box allows all of your senses to be take part in your beauty routine. When I think about it beauty is really a full sensory experience. From smelling perfumes to feeling smooth, silky creams all the way to hearing the spritz sound our finishing sprays make. It all bundles up to create the allure that is beauty. I love this theme to pieces. Whoever thought of it should get a raise. It is so original compared to most of the themes we've been getting.

Information Cards:

Products:
Color ClubNail Lacquer in Blue-Ming
Use this green-turquoise polish on fingers and toes all summer long.
Full Size: 0.5 oz ($8.00)
Size Received: 0.25 oz ($4.00)
I don't think I am the biggest fan of Color Club. Every polish I've gotten (all from Birchbox) fall flat somewhere. Either the color is a bit too chalky, it chips minutes after putting on, or it doesn't apply neatly. This nail polish from the Summer Pastel Collection falls short in all categories. The color to me looks like chalky toothpaste and almost sour looking on my skin. Plus it applies chunky and streaky. I was determined to give the polish a chance, but after it was on my nails for just a few hours I had to get it off because I was so embarrassed by how it applied. I swear my polish skills are better than a 5 year old.

EyekoSkinny Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Direct from London, these punch color liners feature a pen-style applicator that's truly goof-proof.
Full Size: 0.07 oz ($15.00)
Size Received: Full-size received! 0.07 oz ($15.00)
I have to admit I'm not the greatest at applying eyeliner. I see all my friends going out with hot cat eyes and I just sit and stare in admiration. A few months ago I was determined to learn, so I sat in front of the ol youtube and got to work. And I learned within a few videos! Granted I was doing most of my looks with wet eyeshadow. But then comes this skinny liquid eyeliner. Eyeko is a cruelty-free company from London that is known for their mascaras. It has a felt pen-style applicator that is somewhat stiff to help keep the tip in check. After using it for a few weeks I am in love. I can actually get a pretty flawless look without much effort. And I am starting to get adventerous and try simple cat eye looks. It is pretty long lasting, great for every day wear. Although it did rub off when I went to a comedy show and was crying laughing, but at least no raccoon eye, it just wiped away clean. I am sold and want to try every color and every product Eyeko sells. BB points to rescue!

Harvey PrinceEau Flirt
The fragrance equivalent to a wink, this fanciful scent layers fresh citrus and jasmine notes over a base of lavender and pumpkin.
Full Size: 3.4 oz ($98.00)
Size Received: 0.04 oz ($1.15)
A scent I've wanted to try forever and half! I love the idea that a perfume can do some flirting for me! Harvey Prince created Eau Flirt using scientific data on what scents make men crazy. And apparently men associate pumpkin and lavender with happy, stimulating memories. Those two base notes are paired with citrus, jasmine, freesia, and ylang ylang. I had a feeling I would like this perfume since many of my full-size daily wears contain many of the same notes that are in this perfume. And I was right! It is sweet and sparkling and fresh. You can kind of smell the pumpkin, but it just smells warm and inviting not like you are wearing a Yankee Candle. It is a great daytime perfume. I like it best once it has had time to settle. The floral top notes have time to mingle and calm down. But all of this aside, it doesn't last long. I wore it out with a male friend and he said he couldn't smell it at all, even when he tried to smell it directly. So if he can't smell it how is it gonna flirt for me? oh well.

SupergoopCity Sunscreen Serum
Wear this award-winning brand's silky SPF 30 serum under your makeup for a weightless UV shield.
Full Size: 1.7 oz ($42.00)
Size Received: 0.14 oz ($3.46)
There are so many serums out there to choose from, but so many just focus on a single problem. What if I want anti-aging and sun protection? Well Supergoop makes a SPF 30 sunscreen serum that combats aging and moisturizes. It contains Uniprotect PT-3 which apparently repairs already damaged skin and reduces UV-induced oxidation. I haven't tried the serum yet, but Im hopeful because I loved the Supergoop sunscreen towelettes. This stuff is just so darn pricey!

Tea Fortéminteas in Regroup Ginger Pear
Keep these refreshing, tea-infused mints on hand for quick pick-me ups.
Full Size: 1 metal pack ($2.99)
Size Received: Full-size received! 1 metal pack ($2.99)
Food? Yes please! Food that passes as a breath refresher, even better. These minteas are mints that are formulated with all organic teas and herbs. I received the Regroup Ginger Pear flavor. It has a small dose of caffeine and gingko to help your focus. I was very unsure about the flavor, I mean ginger pear mint? But it has a very delicious sweet taste. It all blends so well together that it kind of tastes like a sparkling bite with a mint edge. I can't piece out the ginger or pear. But I'm addicted already. I already love their teas and now I love their mints.

Birchbox Exclusive Earbuds
We designed these neon headphones just for you. Pair them with your best playlist.
Full Size: 1 pair of earbuds ($10.00)
Size Received: Full-size received! 1 pair of earbuds ($10.00)
Is it strange that I would have rather another mp3 download card? These earbuds may be cute, but the sound is not the greatest. It lacks in bass and is very shallow sounding. They are comfy for my teeny ears though! The earbuds are wrapped around a card that tells you about Glamour's custom made Spotify playlists. I downloaded a couple and have really enjoyed the music (Get Dressed To and Pretty Playlist). I just wish I could download the playlists to my ipod...

Total value of my July 2012 Birchbox:$36.60
This is one of my favorite boxes yet! And it was my 1 year anniversary, so what a great way to welcome a second year with BB! Birchbox may have disappointed me multiple times in the past months, but I know I've taken a risk by being a part of a subscription service that may have non-vegan items. This month Birchbox was able to stimulate all of my senses and help me overcome my fear of liquid eyeliners. Not a bad deal.

Birchbox: May 2012 (Gossip Girl) Box 2 of 2

This month we learned a new trick to 'cheat' and figure out what was inside of our boxes. Even though the website wasn't live for the May boxes, the give feedback button was. So if you looked at a product page and it had a give feedback option that was in your box. Sadly, I learned before I even got my box that Iwas going to be disappointed.

May 2012, Gossip Girl Box #9
As you all know the May boxes were curated by the beauty/hair team behind the CW's hit show Gossip Girl. The boxes were even shipped out early this month so that everyone will have their boxes in time for the season finale Monday, May 14th. Unfortunately my second box was sent out a few days after the other box and I didn't get it until after I left for vacation. But it was waiting patiently for me when I got home. This box had a sub-theme of Hampton's Beach Party. The box had products to help a city girl look natural and chic at the beach. I did watch the season finale of Gossip Girl, but I forgot to enter the trivia contest and I can't find it on the Birchbox facebook tabs, so oh well.

Information Cards:

Products:
Ojundamage reverse Restorative Conditioner
Repair stressed strands with this aromatic hair treatment -- exotic ojun and monoi oils work together to smooth and hydrate.
Full Size: 8.5 oz ($25.00)
Size Received: 1.0 oz ($2.94)
Another Ojun product? I learned that Ojun was bought by Estee Lauder and therefore are no longer cruelty-free. Their products are tested on animals as required by law (aka China). So these products, even if not necessary for our market are tested on animals for the Chinese market. Not cool. Plus, this is a creamy, thick conditioner! I have very thin, oily hair wtf? I was so angry that I received a product that was not for my hair type. I decided to take a look at what my profile was set to and somehow it was set to dry!! Dry is right above fine, so I don't get how that happened.  But it does explain a lot.

Color Club: Nail Lacquer in Clambake Coral
Just in time for summer, this warm shade will set off your newly (self-) tanned skin.
Full Size: 0.5 oz ($8.00)
Size Received: 0.25 oz ($4.00)
This color is from the Summer Pastels collection. The color I received may be called coral but to me it looks very pink. Yeah it may be a bit of an orangey pink but it is not so soft. Although I will say it looks more coral when on my nails. It's a little brighter than what I would consider pastel, but I do really like this color. At first, I wasn't so sure, but once on my nails I loved how it looked with my skin color. It is my favorite thing in my box! My only complaint is that with any Color Club nail polish I end up with uneven coats. But unless you look closely you can't tell.

BVLGARIOmnia Crystalline EDT
Inspired by luminescent crystals (so glam), this fresh scent combines notes of lotus flowers, bamboo, and Nashi pear.
Full Size: 1.33 oz ($64.00)
Size Received: 0.05 oz ($2.40)
Omnia Crystalline was inspired by the luminesce of crystal. I'm not sure what a crystal would smell like, but apparently it is an exotic fruit and woodsy. It has notes of asian nashi pear, lotus flower, bamboo and balsa wood. The first fragrance I got in my first Gossip Girl Birchbox was manly and overly woodsy, this scent is the exact opposite. It is sensual, flirty, and feminine. The exotic fruits are just what I like. It smells rich and elegant and dries down to a soft, sweet woodsy smell. It isn't overpowering, but I feel like I could show up to a job interview and command the room or dress up in a slinky dress on a hot date. If it wasn't so expensive I'd be more inclined to rebuy. But this is one of the few products that I felt was Gossip Girl worthy.

Kiehl'sAbyssine Cream +
A longtime bestseller, this anti-aging moisturizer uses microscopic Abyssine molecules to soften wrinkles and protect skin from free radical damage.
Full Size: 1.69 oz ($48.00)
Size Received: 0.25 oz ($7.10)
I had to check again to make sure that my profile does not indicate that Im interested in anti-aging products and it doesnt. Instead it says my face is oily and I'm interested in natural products. How does this fit either requirements. Kiehl's is a THICK moisturizer that has all sorts of pore clogging ingredients. It may work to soften wrinkles but I don't want to put this on my face. Plus, Kiehl's is owned by L'Oreal and therefore is not cruelty-free. I will not be using this and hope I can trade it for something I want to use.

Birchbox: xoxo notecard
Text messages are no match for handwritten notes on fun, modern stationary.
Full Size: 12 notecards ($10.00)
Size Received: 1 notecard ($0.83)
I still weirdly love this extra! I'm trying to trade so that I have more of them. I know some people think they are like the paper coasters or the tiebands, but I actually think it is awesome! I'll be writing my graduation thank you letters this week and am so excited to send these lovely cards on their way.

Total value of my May 2012 box #9:$17.27
I wasn't happy with my first box and I'm not happy with this box. I did edit my profile back to fine/oily, but it sucks that I wasted a month. The lesson to be learn is to not buy into hype. And that I need to scale back on subscription services. I still love Birchbox and just gifted it to a good friend for her birthday, I just wish the months were more consistent. Hopefully next month it will be back on top.

What do you think of my second May Birchbox? Would you have liked this box? How does my box compare to yours? Let me know in the comments below!

Birchbox: March 2012

Although I signed up for a second account to receive both a normal box and a Teen Vogue box I was sent two Teen Vogue boxes. Although, they had different colors of the full-size products I really wanted to get a regular box like I had planned. Lucky for me the lovely Beauty Phoenix was not so happy she got a regular box and really wanted the Teen Vogue box. So we swapped! On top of the swap we traded our Essie LuxeEffect nail polishes. She already had the 'As Gold As It Gets' that was in her box and I loved it a million times more than the pink glitter I received. So win win for everyone!

March 2012, Box #7
This month's regular Birchox was all about shaking off everything that is weighing us and our beauty regime down. The samples were chosen to help tackle any lingering beauty annoyances.

Information Cards:

Products:

Annick Goutal: Eau d'Hadrien
Inspired by Tuscan citrus groves, this bright scent features a winning combo of lemon, grapefruit, and green mandarin notes.
Full size: 1.7oz ($85.00)
Size Received: .06oz ($3.00)
I received another Annick Goutal fragrance in the Teen Vogue March box. It was nice and sweet, but smelled like a popular shampoo. This one is definitely very sparkling. The grapefruit is loud and clear right when you put it on. You can sort of smell the lemon, but its not a cleaning smell lemon, but richer. Once the perfume mellows out a bit it smells very woody, which Annick Goutal's website says is cypress. It is a very classic smelling scent. I really love the fragrance once it mellows out. I could see wearing this to a job interview or on a day I want to feel a bit more sophisticated and regal. What I found interesting is that this fragrance has been around since 1981. It's nice to try out a classic.

Koh Gen Do: Cleansing Water Cloth
Made with mineral-rich spring waters, this Japanese brand's travel-friendly cleansing cloth wipes away a day's worth of dirty and makeup in a few seconds.
Full size: 30 cloths ($39.00)
Size Received: 2 cloths ($2.60)
You can never have enough cleansing cloths. Well I don't really buy them, so its a treat to have them. This cloth is apparently made from pure cotton that has had no special treatments. I like since my face is so sensitive. Sometimes after cleaning my skin with clothes my skin gets really irritated. The cloth not only cleanses away dirt and make-up but is mineral rich to provide non-greasy moisture and hydration. Plus it has essential herbs that protect and nurture skin. Such a multi-purpose cloth. Im going to save these cloths for a lazy night or for when Im traveling.
eta: I tried one of these out tonight since I was feel extravagant. I absolutely loved them! They were very plush and thick with just a hint of a fresh fragrance. They removed all of my makeup and even my heavy eye makeup and blinc mascara (since the cloth is water based). My irritated, red skin felt so refreshed from the cool touch. These were one of the best cleansing cloths I've ever tried.

Traditions by Nick Chaves: Yucca Root Shampooing Cream
Hollywood stylists rave about the restorative abilities of this silky cleanser, which is made with fortifying wild yam and yucca root.
Full size: 8oz ($20.00)
Size Received: 2oz ($5.00)
I have thin, oily hair that needs clear, gel like cleansers to remove buildup. I generally use Desert Essence Lemon Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and have had amazing results. Less oil, no flaking, and soft hair. At first I wasnt sure about this shampoo since it is called a cream. But it is actually a clear, gel consistency somewhat similar to my normal shampoo. The shampoo provides ultimate hydration and moisture for all hair types. It is especially good for hair that tends to be brittle or dry. My roots may be oily, but my ends are currently straw brittle. Yucca and wild yam have apparently been used by Native Americans to prevent hair loss and ensure normal hair growth. The shampoo does have sodium laureth sulfate in it which I normally try and avoid, but since it is humid outside my scalp isn't too flaky or itchy, so I think it will be okay. I'll use this while Im waiting for my next order of my Tea Tree Oil Shampoo to arrive. It smells really nice, Im assuming that is the yucca. Plus, it is the perfect size for travel!

Color Club: Nail Lacquer in He Loves Me
Jazz up blah fingers and toes with this lovely pink polish.
Full size: .5oz ($8.00)
Size Received: .25oz ($4.00)
Only a mini in the regular birchbox, but a full-size in the Teen Vogue, tsk tsk. This is a very intense colored pale pink. And by intense I mean although it is a sweet pink, it is really bright on my nails. I do like the color, Im just not used to this color. I normally wear fuschia or deep red based colors. But I think it would be super cute as polka dots with white polish or as part of a design. I think it will look really nice once my skin is nice and tan. It did take 3 layers to get an even, opaque application. Most nail polishes barely last a day and I've never had a Color Club nail polish, so Ill be interested to see how long it lasts on my nails.

Eve Lom: TLC Radiance Cream
Dull skin no more: this cult British facialist's intensely hydrating moisturizer brightens your complexion with vitamins A and C.
Full size: 1.6oz ($68.00)
Size Received: .49oz ($20.83)
The Eve Lom website states that this moisturizer is incredibly lightweight and suitable for all complexions. I don't get how it can be suitable for my greasy, breakout prone skin, but that is what it says! The formula has many natural ingredients that are high in vitamins and antioxidants (raspberry seed, rosehip seed oils) that work to brighten your skin. Oat kernel and something called Sepilift softens fine lines and lifts. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and light the formula is. It absorbs immediately and does not leave any residue, my skin feels perfectly smooth and matte-like, just a little more hydrated. I dont really like the smell. It kind of reminds me of the wood shaving bedding for hamsters. But I can't smell it on my face, just my hands afterwards. Im not sure I'd ever pay that much for a moisturizer, but Ill enjoy it while it lasts. And I'll see how well it revives my 'glow.'

Tea Forté: skin-smart Teas
An antioxidant tea that tastes amazing and helps our skin look more radiant? Yes, please.
Full size: 16 bags ($6.00)
Size Received: 3 bags ($1.13)
This is probably my favorite extra yet. I absolutely adore tea and love that they have added benefits. The teas are certified organic and fair trade and each tea address a specific skin concern. The three flavors that I received were all green teas. Cucumber Mint is designed to boost collagen product to firm skin. The tea is laced with blueberries and spearmint that also help to enhance the glow of skin. I haven't tried this one yet, but it sounds yummy. Honey Yuzu is designed to renew skin naturally and increase elastin levels. The tea is a yuzu flavored tea (exotic citron flavor) and honey. I haven't tried it, but it smells divine. Cherry Marzipan is designed to reverse the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The tea is flavored with acerola cherries and nutty toasted almond. I tried this tea and absolutely love it. It is a very fresh green tea that has just an added tartness from the cherries and a sweet, almondy end note once you swallow. Im assuming these teas would only really help if you drank them regularly, but with such a reasonable price tag I may buy the entire set of 5 flavors (swiss apple and lychee coconut are the other flavors).
eta: I already bought a full size box of the cherry marzipan. I was sad that they don't have a box with all the flavors since I want to try swiss apple so badly.

Total Value of my March 2012 box: $36.56
So am I glad that I did the swap? I think I am! The only thing that I was interested in trying in the second TV box that I received was the other shade of the tarte. Plus, I still got to have the essie nail polish I loved the most! And now I have 6 new products to try out!

What do you think of my regular March 2012 box? What box number did you get? How does my box compare to yours? Let me know in the comments below!
